Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, modifications, and refunds for bookings made through Travelahensha. By making a booking with us, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2. Cancellation by Customer

2.1. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to bookings@travelahensha.site or through your account on our website.
2.2. The cancellation fee depends on how far in advance of the departure date the cancellation is made:

• More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the total package cost
• 15-30 days before departure: 25% of the total package cost
• 7-14 days before departure: 50% of the total package cost
• Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the total package cost (no refund)

2.3. Special packages, promotional offers, and peak season bookings may have different cancellation terms, which will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

3. Modifications to Bookings

3.1. Requests for changes to bookings must be submitted in writing.
3.2. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3.3. Name changes for flight bookings are subject to airline policies and may not be permitted or may incur substantial fees.
3.4. Date changes are treated as cancellations and new bookings, subject to the cancellation policy above, unless otherwise specified.

4. Cancellation by Travelahensha

4.1. In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a confirmed booking. This might happen due to:

• Force majeure events (natural disasters, political instability, etc.)
• Insufficient participants for group tours
• Safety concerns

4.2. In such cases, we will offer you the choice of:

• An alternative travel package of comparable standard, if available
• A full refund of all monies paid

4.3. Travelahensha is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you may have incurred as a result of the cancelled booking.

5. Refund Process

5.1. All refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the booking.
5.2. Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days from the approval of the cancellation request.
5.3. For payments made via credit/debit cards or net banking, the refund may take an additional 3-5 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's policies.
5.4. For payments made via UPI or digital wallets, refunds typically process within 1-3 business days.
5.5. All refunds are processed through our payment gateway partner, Razorpay, in accordance with their processing timelines.

6. Non-Refundable Expenses

6.1. Certain expenses are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Visa fees
• Travel insurance premiums
• Certain activity bookings that require advance payment to third-party providers

6.2. These non-refundable items will be clearly identified during the booking process.

7. No-Show Policy

If you do not show up for your travel package or any included service without prior notification, it will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be provided.

8. Early Departure or Unused Services

No refunds will be provided for services not utilized during your trip, including accommodation, meals, transfers, and activities, regardless of the reason for non-utilization.

9. Special Circumstances

9.1. Medical Emergencies: In case of serious illness or injury preventing travel, we may offer more flexible cancellation terms upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.
9.2. Death in the Family: In the unfortunate event of a death in the immediate family, we may offer more flexible cancellation terms upon presentation of appropriate documentation.
9.3. Natural Disasters or Political Unrest: If official travel advisories advise against travel to your destination, we will work with you to reschedule or provide credits for future travel.
